ABOUT DEEPIKA PADUKONE:
Deepika Padukone (Konkani:ದೀಪಿಕಾ ಪಡುಕೋಣೆ)) is an Indian actress and a former model. Padukone made her acting debut with the 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya. The following year, she made her Hindi film debut with the blockbuster Om Shanti Om which earned her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

Padukone was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her family moved to Bangalore, India, when she was eleven months old. Padukone is of Mangalorean origin, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Her lineage hails from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of the state of Karnataka, India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is a retired badminton player of international repute, and her mother is a travel agent. Padukone also has a younger sister, Anisha, born on February 2, 1991.

Padukone attended Sophia High School in Bangalore, and completed her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. While in high school she played badminton at the state level. However, she was not keen on pursuing a career as a badminton player.

Modeling
While in college, Padukone pursued a career in modeling. She was spotted in a ramp competition in NLS, Bangalore. Over the years, she has modeled for such Indian brand names as Liril, Dabur Lal powder, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca, and has been "brand ambassador" for the Jewels of India retail jewelery show. The cosmetics company Maybelline made her its international spokesperson.

Shankar talk about Endhiran (also spelt as Enthiran). Shankar said it would be one rung higher than what one saw in Sivaji which is Rajinikanth’s youthful look. Endhiran would fulfil all the expectations which audiences expect from Rajinikanth. His chemistry with Aiswharya Rai (in the role of a medical research student) should be a visual treat for the diehard fans of both. He still feels it is too early to talk about Endhiran (also spelt as Enthiran) but yielded to reveal a few things with 75% of the schedule over.

The Endhiran effect had to be special, more so with Rajinikanth at the helm. Shankar justifies the excessive use of graphics as the plot is all about a robot. Normally, the trend is to finish the movie and go for graphics. We had a graphics team accompanying us right through the shoot to decide on the angle and where the graphics effect would fit in ideally. It would be a victory if our audiences, with a taste for Hollywood fare, compare those films favourably with Endhiran. Chikku Bukku Audio Launched
Chikku Bukku has cleared all controversies and hence Media One Global Entertainment has been into releasing the film sooner than later. The film is complete and the Press meet, Audio and Teaser launch of the film was held at Express Avenue, Club House, Royapettah on August 21, 2010.

The Saturday evening affair saw the presence of Arya, Shriya, music directors, the famous, Colonial cousins Hariharan and Leslie who have wielded the music baton for the film and also the director K Manikandan. The film is set to take place in London and then in South Tamil Nadu.

Chikku Bhukku movie songs and a trailer of the film were screened during the audio/teaser launch. The mall’s crowd was excited and when Arya spoke, the cheer was even higher. Notably, AR Rahman’s long time assistant Praving Mani has done the backgroundmusic for Chikku Bukku. Both Arya and Shriya believe that Chikku Bukku is bankable and that the film will become a hit. Hariharan sang Zara Zara for the mall’s crowds. Chikku Bukku is expected to release by October as the film is in post production stage for the moment.

Actress Vijay KAAVALAN New Sexy Picture ,Stills

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s much expected movie Kaavalan release date has been delayed. Kaavalan will not release for this Diwali and it is likely to be a Christmas release.

Kaavalan is Vijay’s 51st film and it is remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard and nearly 80 percent of the film is complete. Kaavalan features Vijay and Asin lead roles and it is being directed by Siddique.
Vijay’s comedy scenes with Asin and Vadivelu are said to be come well and it is sure to bring the house down. Siddique has earlier given Vijay a megahit through Friends.

Looks like Vijay will make it to the box-office for Diwali celebrations this November. His Kaavalan, remake of the Malayalam flick Bodyguard, is in the final stages of completion and is a sure shot for Diwali releaseaccording to production sources.

Kaavalan is a comedy directed by Malayalam director Siddique and stars Asin opposite Vijay.
